Adult Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Manager

Role:                Adult Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Manager
Location:         Brighton – Hybrid (Fully Remote Working Considered)
Hours:              Minimum of 22.5 hours / Maximum of 30 hours per week
Pay:                  £34 – 38k pro rata
Start Date:       Mid-September
Duration:         5 Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

 

Our client, a reputable charity are looking to recruit an ISVA Manager for approximately 5 months covering a maternity post. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team that provides emotional and practical support and advocacy to adult survivors of sexual violence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the ISVA team, ensuring high-quality, trauma-sensitive, and safe services.
  • Lead the strategic development and operational management of the ISVA team.
  • Promote the organisation with partners and raise awareness of the Adult ISVA service.
  • Ensure effective supervision, performance management, and development of the ISVA team.
  • Oversee and deliver effective and safe case management, ensuring individual support packages are tailored to client needs.
  • Foster strong partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance joint working.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Substantial experience of managing staff and teams
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in safeguarding, multi-agency settings, and managing sensitive personal data.
  • Be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of supporting victims of abuse and/ or trauma, preferably sexual abuse, domestic abuse or exploitation
  • Ability to manage crisis, conflict, safeguarding and complex case situations.
  • Ability to empower and motivate team members
  • DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service would be highly desirable
